One of the best cembalo player in the world, MARIUS MIHALACHE started with 6 and by 17 was already storming SCALA in Milano performing Rahmaninov, Chopin, Schuman, Schubert and Mozart in front of a stunning audience, after getting his first prize in Athens-Greece at 10 yo allready.
But his most important self-declared moment was the meeting with his mentor Chick Corea, who offered him the honour of opening a few shows.
He also shared same stage with Gloria Gaynor and Nina Simone, among others.
He writes few movies and tv soundtracks just before his debut album in 1998, followed by others, all cult-albums from jazz to gypsy music, and of-course classical stuff.
Late 2007, he released his latest production: WORLD SYMPHONY - a mixture of jazz, ethno, roots and lounge - this new musical experiment that amanzingly mingles cembalo with flute, harmonica and solo-vocal of both beautiful and gifted Irina Sarbu, among others instruments.
Now in studio for a new project, preparing a wold-music masterpiece that includes dj and black-music beats, all fusion! New video soon to follow but the real thing is the master himself live on stage: get this experience at least once in a lifetime.
